How do I use Port Query?
Microsoft's PortQry is a useful tool for testing your Internet connection to specific ports on an Avacaster server. Because different parts of the Avacaster system use different ports, it is possible that you may only have difficulty with specific parts of the system due to firewalls.
Download and double click PortQryUI.exe. It will unzip to C:\PortQryUI\ Go to that folder and doubleclick: portqueryui.exe
Enter the Avacaster server name in the top field. Select "Manually input query ports" and enter the port you wish to test. Click the "query" button. If the result says "NOT LISTENING" or "FILTERED" then that port is blocked, and you need to allow this port in your firewall.
