I can hear audio but cannot see video in a presentation.
If you can hear the audio but cannot see the video in a presentation, there can be various reasons.
If the video is Windows Media and you are using a newer Mozilla-based browser (including Netscape 7.x or Firefox), there are known problems. Avacaster does not officially support these browsers in this situation, mainly because of Microsoft's declining support for Windows Media in anything but Internet Explorer on Windows XP. Try physically moving the Player window by dragging the title bar, to force the video to redraw (you may need to do this more than once). This problem is exacerbated when a Flash .swf file is used for the Player background; this is not very common, but you might want to ask your Avacaster event coordinator, just in case.
If you are using Internet Explorer with Windows Media, check that you have the latest version of the Windows Media Player. If you do, you may not have the necessary video codec. Refer to the following entry for information about configuring Windows Media to automatically download codecs:
If you are using an older Windows operating system, please note that Windows Media version 9 may not work well (or at all) on your system, because Windows Media updates may no longer be available for such systems. Refer to the following entry for more information:
