Why is CPU usage high when Avacaster is launched?

The jump in CPU usage is inherent in Macromedia's Shockwave plug-in. The Shockwave client and the Administrator (especially the Slides panel) will show a large jump in CPU usage when logged into. However, this is not detrimental and does not give you an accurate picture of what is going on. The Shockwave plug-in is taking all available idle CPU cycles, but is not taking away CPU usage from other applications.

Note that this should not occur with the Flash version of the Avacaster Player.
